GRAHAs VR ® was selected by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India to participate in the maiden Centre State Science Conclave held in Science City, Ahmedabad last week on 10th and 11th of September '2022.
We were selected among the 125 plus startups from India representing various states and departments. We had the honor of being amongst some of the leading Science & Technology Institutions of our country like ISRO - Indian Space Research Organization, CSIR India, Department of Atomic Energy(DAE) & Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
As we are a part of AIC-MUJ (Atal Incubation Center-Manipal University Jaipur), we were nominated to represent the state of Rajasthan in this eminent Centre - State Science Conclave, which was inaugurated by our Hon. Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi.
Innovation was the key theme that was discussed in the conclave and the foundation for the future of technology and sustainability were some of the key topics that were discussed as a part of the conclave.
Also, the "Science Technology Innovation Vision 2047" was launched during the two days conclave by the Hon. Union Minister of State for Science & Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh.
He later inaugurated the exhibition booths of startups and different departments and visited them too. We at GRAHAs VR ® had the opportunity to showcase our product to the Hon. Minister and interacted with him as well. He appreciated our Aatmanirbhar Bharath efforts of producing an indigenous VR Headset made completely in India for the World.
Our sincere thanks to Department of Science and Technology, Government of Rajasthan for giving us this opportunity and providing us all the necessary support throughout the conclave. We had the honor of demonstrating our product to the Hon. Minister for Science & Technology, Govt. of Rajasthan, Smt. Zahida Khan & Smt. Mugdha Sinha, Principal Secretary, Science & Technology, Govt. of Rajasthan.
They appreciated our efforts in building an Indian made Virtual Reality Headset and lauded the experience too. They even pointed out the cost difference between our VR device and some of the market leaders while mentioning about the value this can add to the Indian Market.
