Virtual Reality is all about the experience. The Immersive Experience of Virtual Reality is what distinguishes it from most of the other technological form factors. VR Experience in its own way is a unique self and often leaves people awestruck.
VR Gaming is a huge success because of this immersive nature. Virtual Reality as a tool creates a huge potential for many use cases to be solved by recreating an immersive virtual world of the physical environment.
As the evolution of any new technology, once people realize it's true potential it will find its way in other areas and sectors of our life. Just like any of our past inventions and past technology, there will always be a discussion about how and what was their first encounter with that device or medium.
As the industry progresses and VR becomes mainstream, the first VR experience will become a topic of discussion by people getting introduced to it. Just like how we have discussions centered around first flying experience, first movie watching experience and first 3D experience etc. Going forward, there will be conversations around the first VR experience.
Our first VR Experience was that of walking with a Dinosaur. The content was called Dino-Trek, wherein you get to roam around in a national park alongside a raptor. The content was so immersively designed in such a way, when you explore the park a raptor will run from your behind. Then you will keep crisscrossing the raptor's movement throughout the duration of the experience. This experience will be as if you are in the shooting spot of the latest Steven Spielberg movie.
In one of our latest virtual recreations for a client, he started off the experience in the living room and ended up in the bedroom. We will reveal more details on the content and the experience soon.
This is one of the reasons why Virtual Reality is being used to treat a lot of phobias like Pyrophobia (Fear of Fire), Acrophobia (Fear of Heights), Aerophobia (Fear of Flying) etc.
The majority of the tech industry and the world structured around it revolves around fear of missing out and peer pressure. Virtual Reality is one such factor which is being listed out in FOMO and also it's driving through a lot of peer pressure and the industry buzz feed around it. But the technology has to be experienced first, before either name calling or raving about it.
